KIDS YOGA & MINDFULNESS
A playful yoga class designed especially for children ages 4-10. Kids yoga and mindfulness helps to calm and center a child's growing body and mind while increasing confidence, concentration, strength, flexibility and coordination. This is a fun and interactive opportunity for children to explore age-appropriate yoga poses as well as breath and relaxation through games, music, and imagination. Ideas such as gratitude, respect, peace, kindness and community will be introduced through books, games and discussion. Parent participation encouraged.

Learning how to disconnect from distractions and to connect to the strength inside us mentally, physically, and spiritually is what brought Jessica to the yoga mat in 2008. Since then she has used her practice to stay centered through many life changes and challenges. With a calm presence and creative sequencing, she offers a practice that is empowering and grounding. Because yoga provides us with tools we need to face life's challenges, she has developed a special interest in sharing yoga with children and young adults.
